On Wednesday shots were fired at an apartment in Hermodsdal in Malmö. Nobody was hurt.
The police were alerted at 20:07, when someone or someone from the area informed them that a shooting had occurred. Therefore, the police were sent to Docentgatan.
– We have made findings at the site that indicate there was a shooting. We have not come into contact with any injured person. We have blocked and will do a technical investigation and work with our special search dogs, says Jimmy Modin, police press spokesman.
Initially, the police were silent about what happened at the scene. They later announced that they had bombed an apartment, but that there were no people in it.
Why do you think the apartment was shot?
– It is too early to speculate, it will be a later part of the investigation to see what is behind the event itself. Right now we are trying to secure as many leads as possible and speak to witnesses to get a clear picture of the incident, says Jimmy Modin.
Police classify the incident as a felony with firearms and vandalism.
