Police have launched a major operation in Upplandsbro, north of Stockholm, following alarms about gunfire.
An injured person has been found in a residential area.
– We have some barricades there and we are looking for an alleged perpetrator, says Carina Skagerlind in the Stockholm region police.
Shortly after 11pm tonight, multiple people contacted police after hearing gunshots at Tibble in Upplands-Bro.
The police withdrew with great force. A police helicopter also controlled the mother site.
– The wounded man has been taken to hospital. The damage situation is unclear, says Carina Skagerlind, a police spokeswoman in the Stockholm region.
The place, which is outdoors, has just been cordoned off.
– There are some witnesses we are listening to at the moment, says Carina Skagerlind.
