GP offers double concerts with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

GP’s Christmas concert with Petra Marklund, The World’s Tallest Man and Linnea Olsson can be seen on gp.se until January 15, inclusive, but the magazine is now continuing other musical initiatives as well.

On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, we will broadcast two unique concerts with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra from the Concert Hall here on gp.se, the first with a Christmas theme and the second with a little ‘champagne music’ more festive.

“We’ve cut together and made a cavalcade of what GSO has played in recent years,” says Symphony Orchestra executive and artistic director Sten Cranner.

Conductors during the two concert nights include Manfred Honeck, Nathalie Stutzmann, Barbara Hannigan. Finnegan Downie Dear and the head conductor of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Santtu-Matias Rouvali. The pianist Roland Pöntinen and the soloist Peter Mattei also participate.

The concerts start at 7:00 p.m., last about 45 minutes and will be available until January 15.
