A male security guard in his 30s is convicted of robbery, illegal threats and abuse in court after turning himself in to another security guard inside the premises of the Svea Court of Appeal in Stockholm, Expressen reports.

The security guard also lost his job at the security company where he worked.

According to the indictment, one day in mid-January, the man snatched the mobile phone from his former colleague in the dressing room. Since then he has subjected him to various threats of violence, even if he contacted the police.

“If you get in touch with a colleague, the boss, or even if you think about contacting the police, you’re going to get very sick,” the victim is said to have said.

The security guard denies the crime, but was sentenced to a suspended sentence and 240 hours of community service. You also have to pay SEK 15,000 for damages to your former colleague.
