Sebastian Andersson was absent when the national team did the first training session before the Nations League meetings with France and Portugal.
– He runs rehab at the hotel, says communications manager Ester Kristiansson.
The Swedish national team met in Stockholm and will hold their first training session on Tuesday at the Stockholm Stadium. All team members were present during the session except for John Guidetti, who joins later, and Sebastian Andersson.
– He played a game the day before yesterday and therefore decided to do rehabilitation at the hotel, says communications manager Ester Kristiansson.
Various minor flaws
However, there should be no danger with Andersson. Federation captain Janne Andersson said during yesterday’s press conference that several players have minor flaws, but no one should have a more serious sentiment.
Only the goalkeepers, Mikael Lustig, Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Dejan Kulusevski, Ken Sema, Alexander Isak, Emil Forsberg, Mattias Svanberg and Pierre Bengtsson completed the entire training.
Sweden begins the Nations League match on Saturday against France and then Portugal awaits on Tuesday. Both games are played at Friends Arena.
