Scientists have found signs of life on the planet Venus.

It is in the cloud layer of the planet where microorganisms may have been found.

– If that’s true, it’s incredibly big, says Alexis Brandeker, an astronomer at Stockholm University.

The British “royal astronomical society” claims at a press conference that they have found signs of life on our neighboring planet Venus.

Two powerful telescopes, one in Chile and one in Hawaii, have been used in her research, says Professor Jane Greaves at a press conference.

A special topic has been found that lifeforms can work on.

Researchers are now working, according to the AP news agency, to try to advance how it is possible that life forms could actually occur or have existed on the inhospitable planet.

Venus has been described as “hell” or as “earth’s evil twin” due to toxic gases, extremely high temperatures (around 425 degrees), and a lack of water.

The researchers work with the hypothesis that there is life in the planet’s cloud layer, since the temperature of the planet’s earth is too high and inhospitable for any life. On the cloud cover, on the other hand, it is much colder.

Professor Sara Seager from the “Royal Astronomical Society” says that it is an area about 50 kilometers above the surface of Venus.

Alexis Brandeker, an astronomer at Stockholm University, says it is an incredibly great discovery, if true.

– Several researchers will now want this to be confirmed and it is not certain that they are life forms. It can also be chemistry that we currently don’t know about, he says.

Alexis Brandeker believes that the picture will clear within a year through new methods.

It’s also not that far to send a probe that can sample Venus’ cloud cover.

– Five years from now, it may be possible to send a space probe there, he says.
