History teacher Samuel Paty, 47, had conflicts with parents after showing photographs of the Prophet Muhammad to school children.
Afterward, Paty must have been concerned for his own safety.
On Friday he was beheaded by a Moscow-born teenager of Chechen origin.
When police arrived in the Paris suburb where Samuel Paty’s murder occurred in the morning, the 18-year-old perpetrator remained at the scene.
After an exchange of words with the police, he was shot and killed.
Now it appears that there has already been a threat against the 47-year-old history and geography professor.
During a conference on freedom of expression in early October, Paty is said to have shown cartoons depicting the naked Prophet Muhammad from Charlie Hebdo magazine, who in 2015 was subjected to a notorious assassination attempt.
Criticized the teacher
It is said that several parents were upset by the slide show, despite the teacher warning and letting those who wanted to leave the classroom earlier.
The father of a 13-year-old girl is said to have posted a video on Youtube criticizing the teacher and urging other parents to show their dissatisfaction with Paty together, writes The Guardian.

A parent of another child, on the other hand, felt that Samuel Paty handled the situation in a respectful way.
– He told them that he would show them a photo and asked those who wanted to leave the classroom so that they would not be angry or surprised, says Father Noredine according to franceinfo.
His son had not perceived the situation as offensive and did not understand how it could lead to the bestial terrorist act.
– As a Muslim, I would never cut off anyone’s head. You can insult whoever you want. It is Muslims who cannot create cartoons, says Noredine.
After the parents’ dispute, the school had arranged a meeting with the school staff and the parents to resolve the situation.
It must have emerged that Paty felt a danger to her safety after the events.

The alleged terrorist crime on Friday must have occurred when Samuel Paty left his job. The 18-year-old from Moscow is said to have attacked Paty with a kitchen knife and then cut off her head.
He then reportedly took a photo of his head and posted it on social media with a message to President Emmanuel Macron who called himself the Messenger of Allah.
When confronted by police, the 18-year-old shouted “Allahu akbar,” God is great, before he was shot dead, according to French media.
