In her Christmas speech, Nyamko Sabuni called for clearer leadership in tackling the pandemic at the national level.

He has also criticized the government, saying it has failed to come up with a working strategy to isolate the elderly and control the spread of the infection.

On December 18 the government arrived with stricter advice to slow the progress of the infection. Congestion shouldn’t happen in gyms and shops, and Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told a press conference that he believes everyone in Sweden understands the seriousness.

However, the leader of the liberal party Nyamko Sabuni visited Täby Centrum, north of Stockholm, on December 19. According to information from TT, he was queuing outside a store.

Liberals press secretary Mattias Holmqvist responds to why Sabuni was in the Christmas trade one day after the sharpest advice:

“In Täby C, you will find the nearest pharmacy and supermarket for mail delivery. He ran a quick errand and left the mall right after, ”he writes in a text message.

Recently SVT Nyheter Skåne revealed that Migration Minister Morgan Johansson (S) had Christmas shopping at a mall from Monday to Friday, and stated that Prime Minister Stefan Löfven visited the Gallerian in Stockholm, two days after he himself announced the strictest restrictions.
