A minor road has been blocked since a small truck was heard broadcasting a message similar to that of the caravan in Nashville minutes before it exploded on Friday.
It is still unclear exactly what kind of recording was played from a white truck on a highway near Lebanon in Tennessee just after 5pm on Sunday night Swedish time.
The alarm that a message should have been heard came through an informant who contacted police, CNN claims.
Footage from the scene shows how a large police force blocked the road, Highway 231 S, and installed a robot bomb that will investigate the motor home parked on the side of the road.
Lebanon is 40 kilometers east of Nashville.
