Rögle took the third win in four possible attempts at this year’s SHL. Djurgården was beaten 5-3 at Ängelholm, where Dennis Everberg made it 1-0 and Daniel Zaar 2-0 before Michael Haga sent the reduction in the first period.
Once in the second, Rögle threw with two new bags, and it was again Zaar who scored in the fourth against four and then Canadian Éric Gélinas shot 4-1 in five against three.
Djurgården came close in the third, dropped early through Manuel Ågren, but when Simon Ryfors pressed close at 5-2 the matter was clear. Stockholm’s guests then made it 5-3 when Haga answered for his second goal of the day, but no closer came Dif, who has two losses and one win in the first three games.
– I am not satisfied. There are many expulsions for our team and it will be costly. It feels like if we play three on five in the second period, it will be very strange, says Robert Ohlsson, coach at Djurgården.
“Well that fits”
Of course, the happiest is Simon Ryfors, who with his 5-2 goal continues to score. He scored two goals in the premiere against Linköping and then also in the subsequent round against HV71.
– Self-confidence is good. I feel strong and alert. There is a lot of speed and intensity in our chain. I’m glad it’s going so well, he affirms for Cmore and continues:
– We won the match in powerplay. We scored three goals in numerical superiority. That is an important part of the game. Well that fits.
“It is very good to win on Saturdays”
Ryfors believes that Saturday’s wins are better than three points on other days.
– Is very good. Extra nice win on Saturdays. There are always fantastic matches here against Djurgården. Now that the audience is lacking, you always do when you come across good teams here, not least on Saturdays!
