Robin Olsen may not make his debut from kick-off, but he is on the bench at his new club, Everton, in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool this afternoon.
The Swedish national team’s goalkeeper ended a few weeks ago with Everton after a difficult stage in the Italian league, where he played for Cagliari and Roma.
But at Everton, Jordan Pickford, the England goalkeeper, plays. And he keeps the goalkeeper jersey despite his efforts in the Nations League game against Denmark this week when he received criticism from various experts.
