The wave of infections continues to put pressure on Scanian hospitals.
In the last 24 hours, the number of hospitalized patients with corona has increased from 134 to 147.
15 are seen in the intensive care unit, which is an unchanged number from the day before and also about ten less than during the peak of infection this spring.
But the total number of hospitalized was at most 91 this spring.
The number of new confirmed cases also remains high, more specifically 605 in the last 24 hours. Since the turn of the month of October / November, the Skåne Region has for several days reported numbers of new cases per day of more than 500.
A new death has been registered.
