The channel has existed for a couple of years and its YouTube channel has seen conversations and interviews with well-known extremists and conspiracy theorists, according to Expo.

Swebbtv’s main platform has been on YouTube. But nowadays it is not possible to find channel material on the site. In a clip from another site, Lennart Matikainen, one of the project’s presenters, says that Swebbtv was removed by YouTube the day before Christmas Eve without giving any explanation.
In the new movie clip Lennart Matikainen claims that the Swedish government is behind the removal of the YouTube channel. This is strongly denied by the Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson (S).

At first, Swebbtv had a connection to the Swedish Democrats, but according to Daniel Poohl, it is no longer possible to see any connection to the Riksdag party.
Last year, the former executive director of the Swedish Business Confederation, Leif Östling, received criticism after being interviewed on the channel. The appearance meant that he lost his job as president of the Södertälje science park.
In a statement to DN, Mark Jansen, YouTube communications manager Northern Europe, writes that they do not comment on individual policy decisions and that the content provisions of the site are decided globally.
“We have strict policies on what is allowed to upload to YouTube. Material that violates these guidelines is removed from the platform, during the third quarter of this year, 7.9 million videos of this type were removed. We do not go into details about individual policy decisions, but at a general level: channels that violate regulations receive a series of warnings and in case of repeated violations of the rules, channels can be removed in their entirety, “he writes to DN.
