Donald Trump and his associates have filed more complaints about electoral fraud in the United States. But the president is being rejected by his own party colleagues, who say that everything has gone well.
Trump supporters are demanding that votes be re-counted in various cities and states, such as Philadelphia.
Donald Trump and his campaign will file a lawsuit to prevent Michigan from officially naming Joe Biden as the winner in the state.
The Trump field requires that no results be declared in the state until all votes are guaranteed to be legitimate and cast in accordance with applicable state law. Independent judges have already announced Joe Biden as the winner in Michigan.
That lawsuit is just the latest in a series of similar Republican protests after the incumbent president continued to claim that electoral fraud had taken place and that his victory had been “stolen.”
Judges have already thrown out an earlier report in Michigan, as well as one in Georgia, and legal experts tell Reuters that even the new lawsuit has little chance of going further.
On Monday, another lawsuit was filed in Pennsylvania, which was also aimed at not nominating a winner. It was based on the testimony of a postal worker who claimed to have witnessed electoral fraud. He then withdrew his statement, but the mood of the Republicans remains the same.
– Man has a great ability to invent things that are not true about choice. Conspiracy theories, rumors, and all of that run wild, and for some reason, elections create that kind of mythology, says Ohio Republican Frank LaRose.
LaRose is the state secretary of state and responsible for counting the votes in his state, as is party comrade Scott Schwab in Kansas.
“Kansas did not experience widespread systemic problems with voter fraud or any other problem during the election,” Schwab told the newspaper.
– We are very happy with how the elections have gone so far.
