The rate at AP7 Aktiefond, which is one component of the AP7 Såfa premium pension pre-qualification alternative, will receive a lower rate next year. On January 1, the management fee will be reduced from 0.08 percent to 0.075 percent, according to a press release. There is a total of SEK 630 billion in the fund and the change affects five million savers.

The fee has been continuously reduced and the most recent change was made in early 2020.

“We have a responsibility to gradually reduce the tariff when there is room for it,” says Richard Gröttheim, CEO of AP7, in a comment.

The rate on AP7 Räntefond, the other component of the soffliggarfonden, remains at 0.04 percent.

The average rate on AP7 Såfa has decreased from 0.13 to 0.06 percent since 2010.

The rate in Såfan differs between age groups because the distribution between the equity fund and the bond fund is adjusted according to the age of the saver.
