The Riksdag is ready to draft the defense decision for 2021-2025 on December 15. A majority in the defense committee on Tuesday supported the government’s defense bill. It is compatible with S, MP, C and L.
M and KD make reservations.
– We have been very clear that we will not back another underfunded defense decision, says M’s defense policy spokesperson Pål Jonsson, who is also the committee chair.
Although M and KD are behind the defense policy guidance, they believe more money needs to be pledged now for all defense initiatives to be fully implemented after 2025.
SD also believes that more money is needed and has its own reserve. V also reserves the right, but for other reasons.
