The discovery of the taxi driver triggered an operation with police dogs on Sunday night.
Then the patrols got clues about the address of a famous rapper.
He is now a suspect in a felony firearms crime after a concealed weapon was found in a stroller.
The police operation began in the Stockholm area at 03:00 on Sunday night.
According to information to Aftonbladet, the case began with a taxi driver who stated that two clients did not pay for the trip.
When the passengers saw a police patrol in the area, the driver must have seen how they tried to hide a gun in the taxi.
Shortly after, they had to take the weapon and leave the place.
– According to the driver, they never paid for the trip, a source tells Aftonbladet.

Struck in the middle of the night
The police launched a large investigation and managed to find the names of two suspects. One of the people is an established rapper who has collaborated with several great artists, according to information from Aftonbladet.
At the same time, police dogs searched the area where the taxi customers were last seen. The dog must also have received clues that went to the rapper’s home address, Aftonbladet sources claim.
Police raided the house and arrested the rapper at 03:36 along with another man.
The dog must continue to track the address and then mark a stroller next to the rapper’s house.
In the stroller there was a hidden fanny pack containing a pistol.

The prosecutor does not want to confirm Aftonbladet’s information, but claims that two people were arrested on suspicion of a felony firearms crime.
– It’s a preliminary investigation secret. But it can be said that the police alerted the public and that two people were arrested after a weapon was found near the place where these people were detained.
The rapper was released on Monday. The arrest of the other man was requested.
– The person who has been released is still a suspect, says chamber prosecutor Maria Hävermark.
What is happening now in the investigation?
– It will be a technical exam as usual. DNA being examined by the NFC (National Forensic Center). A declaration of weapons must also be made, if it is a real weapon and if it is functional. It is the measurements that remain.
