The Corona 2020 pandemic goes down in history as a year in which a deadly virus separated family members and people were forced to avoid loved ones.
The royal family has been no exception, and the royal couple have been isolated in the castles of Stenhammar and Drottningholm during the year.
– I share this with many parents and grandparents, that we should not really know each other, says Queen Silvia at Kungahuset 2020.
Isolated from grandchildren: “I thought it was difficult”
You have not let your longing for your children and grandchildren exceed the recommendations and guidelines of the Public Health Agency.
– I thought it was difficult but I understand of course that it did not work and that you have to respect the rules that existed, Silvia tells the TV4 journalist Rania Shemoun Olsson.
However, being separated from loved ones has been difficult.
– But of course it feels in the heart, it feels, says Silvia in the documentary.
Kungahuset 2020 will air on TV4 at 8:00 p.m. on December 25.
