He broke into Congress wearing horns and animal skins.

Now he wants to testify against former President Donald Trump.

– My client feels that the president has let him down, says his lawyer Albert Watkins.

Qanon shaman Jacob Chansley is one of the most prominent Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol and Congress on January 6.

Largely due to her very unusual outfit at the time.

He wore an animal horn hat with fur tails, a spear with the American flag, and a megaphone. Along with face paint and naked torso.

Chansley was arrested shortly after the riot that killed four people and is now a suspect in a series of storm-related crimes. Now, his lawyer Albert Watkins says Jacob Chansley is willing to testify against former President Donald Trump in the next superior court proceeding, writes AP.

“With a series of propaganda-like expressions, the president basically made my client, and tens of thousands of others, feel like they were actually invited by the president to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol with our president to save our country”. Watkins told CBC.

The attorney says that he is not holding his client responsible for his actions, but that these are extenuating circumstances. And testimony that he believes should be of great interest to the Supreme Court indictment that deals with precisely that: that then-President Trump called the storm.

“To be successful in such an accusation, one must be able to demonstrate the condition they were in and that it was such that they felt the president was responsible for doing what they did,” says Albert Watkins.

Who says Jacob Chansley feels betrayed by the president who left office without forgiving him and the other storms in Congress.

– You are sorry you were misled by Trump, the lawyer has previously said.

Albert Watkins says his client is now in a “deprogramming process” after being “heavily taken over” by President Trump and the Qanon movement. And that he, as a follower of the shamantron, is also a peaceful person who did not commit any kind of violence during the riots.

– You have to meet the man behind the horns and the fur, says Albert Watkins.
