At its annual press conference, the Russian site Life asked Vladimir Putin about the Bellingcats reveal. It shows that a whole team of FSB agents and specially trained chemists and doctors have followed Navalny on his travels through the regions for several years, before he was poisoned with the neurotoxin Novitjok on August 20 this year.
– Why haven’t the police started a preliminary investigation into the Navalny poisoning? Life wondered.
Putin refused, as usual pronouncing the name of Navalny. He called him “the Berlin patient.”
– I know this survey. It is based on materials from the US Security Service, which means that the Berlin patient collaborates with them. That means, of course, that our security services must keep an eye on him, Putin said.
His reasoning confirms in practice that the information about the FSB team that persecuted Navalny is correct.
– But that certainly doesn’t mean they tried to poison him. It’s not that important, Putin said, laughing nervously.
“If they had wanted to kill him, they would have done it,” he added.
In other words, Putin recognized that the Russian security service is killing people, something that must be considered alarming.
At a press conference, Putin said he had not decided whether he would run again in the 2024 presidential elections. He has caused Khabarovsk residents to protest for nearly five months.
– Furgal did a good job. But the murder charges are very serious. The judicial system is the same for everyone, Putin said, despite the fact that the Russian legal system, by contrast, is known for its political judgments.
