The Skaraborg District Court sentences two 25-year-old men to eight years in prison for extremely serious drug offenses and violations of the law on drug trafficking.
With the help of aliases like “Konstapelknark” and “Kemistenshemhjalp”, the men have sold drugs and certain drugs through various markets on the darknet, a hidden part of the Internet.
This is one of the most important cases so far regarding the sale of drugs on the dark web. The indictment comprises a total of 7,676 drug transfers worth a total of just over 7.6 million SEK. From an apartment in Skövde, drugs were sold throughout Sweden and in about 20 other countries.
At the same time, several thousand buyers, through seizures in the apartment of the condemned, have been able to be identified by name and address. The information will be investigated further by the police.
– It might spark some thoughts. You can get caught and go there even if you shop on the dark web, chamber prosecutor Sofia Karlsson previously noted.
