During the National Health Authority press conference on April 29, Anders Tegnell said that in China, there was a certain tendency for women with a crown to ask Svenska Dagbladet the question of women infected by the crown giving birth earlier .
Anders Tegnell:
– In China, there was a certain trend, yes. Not like it happened in Sweden.
– It was such a small difference that it did not affect either the child or the mother. It was more of an observation.
The children examined had not been infected
Every seventh pregnant woman who underwent a crown test in the maternity ward of Östra Hospital in Gothenburg was infected with the virus. A total of 161 patients have been tested and 23 of them have been infected.
Some of them have also given birth to children during illness.
