The nude Instagram photo of the model has been liked by more than 160,000 people.
One of them stands out a bit more: Pope Francis himself.
“A blessing”, according to the Garibotto model.

Pope Francisco.
Natalia Garibotto, 27, is a Brazilian model who on the Nataagataa Instagram account publishes nude photos of herself for her 2.4 million followers. That one of his admirers turns out to be the Pope himself has set the Vatican in motion.
It was on November 13 when the photo of Garibotto, in which he was shown swinging in a garter belt and school uniform with the text “I can teach you one thing and another”, liked the account Francisco, the official Instagram account of the Pope of 83 years.
Happy for Natalia Garibotto, who writes on Twitter that she has now “received the official blessing of the Pope.”
“At least I’ll get to heaven,” the model also tweeted.
Less happy is the Vatican.
Do you want an explanation
The similar mark was removed from the Pope’s account when questions from the press reached the Vatican. Now an internal investigation is underway to find out what caused the somewhat surprising tribute.
Who runs the Pope’s account, which has more than 7.4 million followers, is not well known. But according to The Catholic News Agency, there are several people involved.
“We have turned to Instagram for an explanation,” a Vatican spokesperson told The Guardian.
“The Pope is not Donald Trump”
Robert Mickens, editor of the Catholic newspaper La Croix, tells The Guardian that he considers it too unlikely that it is the Pope in his own personality who liked the image.
– The Pope is not like Donald Trump, he does not sit and use his phone or computer all day to tweet. Approve tweets but I don’t like it. On very rare occasions, you have said you want to tweet something due to an emergency or similar. So he has nothing to do with this, it’s the communications department. But how could this happen … who knows?
The image that received a heart from the Pope.
