It was awkward in Trollhättan for the second night in a row.

At 12.30 am on Tuesday night, the police were to stop a car in Trollhättan and there was a short chase by the police.

When the car was stopped, three people ran out, in connection with which a large crowd gathered and rockets began to be fired at the police.

– People in the car managed to escape, in connection with that, people began to gather. There was a threatening atmosphere and rockets were fired at the police, says Peter Adlersson, a police spokesman for the West region.

Multiple people served

The police called for reinforcements and the situation calmed down later.

– Then we detained a moped driver, the moped was stolen and they took him away for samples. So we take the car and the moped. And a couple of people were arrested for disorderly conduct, says Peter Adlersson.

During the afternoon of Sunday and the night before Monday, police were alerted if a gang of youths later fired firecrackers and rockets at balconies and stairways in Kronogården.

When the police arrived at the scene, they were also attacked.

– It is a generally disorderly event, said Stefan Gustafsson, press spokesman for the police in the West region on Monday.
