The anti-trafficking section of the Stockholm police raided the massage parlor in central Stockholm in late May after suspicions of extensive brothel activities.
For several hours, the police searched the room for traces of pimping.
At the same time, a policeman was arrested who, together with his wife. They are suspected of running the brothel and have since been in custody on suspicion of serious pimping.
Half a million in cash was found at his home. According to the initial police investigation, customer records showed that they should have made 1.7 million SEK on the acquisition, but now suspicions are mounting that sales at the salon have totaled 11 million SEK.
Vulnerable woman raised the alarm about the brothel
The money must have been withdrawn for one year as of May 2019.
– I have prosecuted the couple for gross pimping because, together and in consultation, they ran a massage parlor in central Stockholm, where they promoted and took advantage of the fact that several plaintiffs sold sexual services for a fee, says Chief Prosecutor Per Nichols.

The couple have denied any wrongdoing during the investigation.
The police raid was carried out after a woman sounded the alarm and police spied on the alleged brothel for a time.
– The accusation is the result of an excellent search by the police and that one of the vulnerable women made a report, says Per Nichols.
The police officer is also charged with violations of the law on flammable and explosive products, violations of the Law on Firearms and doping offenses.
Before the next trial, the responsible committee of the Police Authority will decide whether the man will be fired if found guilty.
