Two policemen were taken to the hospital after their car was hit during a police chase.
A patrol discovered a car in violation of traffic rules on Friday night in Djurgården in central Stockholm, but instead of stopping, the car tried to get away from the patrol that started a car chase against the perpetrator.
– The car chase ended with the man driving another stopped police car and injuring the two policemen who were in the car, says Fredrik Andersson, a duty officer for the Stockholm Police.
Police and the man were taken to hospital and he is now suspected of attempted aggravated assault and intentionally driving the police car.
