Police were alerted to the noise at 12:20 on Friday.
– It’s a fight in a constellation of gangs of some kind, which the police are not unaware of, says Stefan Gustafsson, press spokesman for the police in the western region.
According to witnesses at the scene, the shelter was used of some kind.
– There is information that an ax must have occurred and that a person has injuries that may have arisen from an ax, says Gustafsson.
When the police arrived at the scene, a car had left the scene, it was found by another police patrol but it refused to stop.
Two arrested
The police started a chase and after just over ten minutes stopped the car.
– Two people were arrested, a man and a woman. The injured person has been taken to hospital, says Stefan Gustafsson.
It is not clear how severe the damage is. What caused the dispute is also unknown.
A dog patrol was called to the scene to search for shelter.
The incident is being investigated as an aggravated battery.
