The 70-year-old man has left home early and is used to walking long distances. On Sunday he left, but then they were able to find him relatively quickly.
But on Monday he has been walking all day, with a small dog.
– We do not know exactly when he ran this morning, but we have received observations from him at both 13 and 16. He has been seen along the county road in 1768, just before Bredared. If it goes far enough in that direction, it ends up in Borås, says Morten Gunneng, an officer on duty in the western region police.
Police are searching for him with cars along the roads and he has come out with a report and is asking the public for help in finding him.
The man is wearing a blue mid-length jacket, cap, and blue jeans. He leans forward and is probably carrying a backpack. He has a smaller dog with him. Anyone who thinks they see the man should contact the police.
– It’s gotten dark and cold and he has nowhere to go inside in that area, says Morten Gunneng.
