Swedish champion Göteborg FC withdraws from the Allsvenskan when the club closes its elite operations.
A decision of which the players were informed this morning.
– It was a shock, says Hill Emma Kullberg.
Emma Kullberg, back at Gothenburg FC, says she and the other players on the team received the news that the club’s elite activities will be shut down just before the decision was made in the media.
– Yeah, I really don’t know what to say. “We have come to know this before,” he says.
Did you get any signs that this could happen?
– Not really. It was a shock.
What happens now?
– I do not know. I know nothing. You have to try to land on it and see how it takes everything further and try to work from it.
