After President Rikard Fahlman’s appeal, many people helped get the snow off the field.

It’s cold and snowy in Piteå, which contributed to today’s damallsvenska match between crisis team Piteå and away Eskilstuna.
Two hours before the start of the game, the LF Arena field was covered with a thin layer of white snow and was not playable.
The electric heating under the field was too weak to completely thaw the field where the lines were not visible.
– The objective is that we play in LF of course, but in the end the referee is the one who judges if it will be playable. We need people to help, officials to help get rid of the snow. It’s not three decimeters of snow, but just a bit of dust, so hopefully we get rid of all the snow before we warm up and start, said sporting director Leif Strandh.
On Facebook, President Rikard Fahlman asked people to come help.
“NOW WE NEED HELP !!! IF YOU HAVE A SNOW SKATE, COME TO LF ARENA 13.30. We want to play outside and we have 50 snowmobiles and so many haulers we fix this! SHARE SHARE SHARE! Now we show what Piteå is capable of !!! You must make a health declaration in LF. Make sure you don’t have a fever!He wrote.
Several people came to the arena and were helped to clear the snow and almost 90 before the start of the match the news came that there will be a kick-off as planned at LF Arena.
Piteå is in the relegation zone in the table.
