The Picard food chain is recalling several batches of sesame-based products after excessive levels of the plant protection product ethylene oxide were found, the company writes in a press release.

According to Picard, there are seven products in some specific batches. Ethylene oxide is a regulated plant protection product in the EU, as it is toxic when consumed regularly.

The sesame-based products have been sold in Picard’s own stores and at retailers such as ICA, City Gross and Coop.

Customers who have purchased any of the products listed below, with the same “lot number” or expiration date, are encouraged to return them.
