Phase two: all people over 70 should get vaccinated

Around 80,000 doses of vaccine are expected to arrive in Sweden per week during January and February.

Health and care personnel are also included in phase 2. In phase 3, the plan is for people in the risk group to be vaccinated and then the rest of the population.

Previously, the message was that everyone who wanted should be able to have the vaccine before midsummer, but Anders Tegnell stated Tuesday that planning depends on the vaccine being delivered by manufacturers other than Pfizer / Biontech.

On Tuesday, another 205 deaths were reported in Sweden, and 8,484 people have died from covid-19.
