– The crown is not only negative, if it brought something good it was Märta, says Petter Stordalen to Aftonbladet.

This summer it was revealed that Norwegian hotel magnate and billionaire Petter Stordalen, 57, met the love of former elite Swedish cyclist Märta Elander Wistén, 30.

Related to that, they showed up at the grand opening of Stordalen’s new luxury hotel in Copenhagen, but haven’t posed for a photo together – until now.

When Aftonbladet meets Petter Stordalen and Märta Elander Wistén at their At Six hotel in Stockholm, they have just had breakfast and before she leaves we are allowed to take some photos. They hug and kiss and Stordalen lovingly tousles his girlfriend’s hair.

Stayed a hundred days, we were in the same house 24/7

Petter Stordalen then says they met this spring in connection with the corona pandemic.

– We met by chance a couple of times, then we had contact and we talked about her coming to visit me in Oslo. I said that it may not be the right time, that I am not my best because of this crisis. She said she would still be visiting in a couple of days.

– Märta arrived and Norway fell into confinement almost immediately. He stayed a hundred days, we were in the same house 24/7. She changed my approach from all the horrible things that were happening. The crown is not only negative, if it brought something good it was Märta.

Petter Stordalen was previously married to Gunhild Stordalen. They separated last winter after fourteen years together.
