Now she tells Aftonbladet about nervousness and tears of joy.

The host and the producer Peter settman has become engaged to his American television colleague Carmen davies.
In an Instagram post where the future spouses pose for a photo together, Peter Settman writes: “I know. Now I’m skinny”, followed by red hearts. Among those who congratulate for the commitment with emojis and shouts of joy, names like David hellenius, Christine Meltzer, Felix herngren and David sundin.
When Aftonbladet comes to Peter Settman, he speaks of great happiness.
– It feels great, it really does. It feels nice and fun and full of fun, it’s a lot of fun.
Was it you or Carmen who proposed to you?
– I was the one who got engaged and it happened in the middle of the day. I walked around waiting for the right opportunity to come along and then she replied yes.

What makes you nervous?
– Yes, of course I was nervous. It’s exciting and it’s a big step that means a lot and it’s serious. But it really felt completely natural to be honest, says Peter Settman and says there were several tears of joy:
– Both Carmen and I are close to our feelings and we do not repress them. You were captivated by the moment and the love and the feeling, of course there were tears. Of course it was. I’m captivated now just trying to put all of this into words.
Have you had time to touch the word wedding?
– No, honestly not. But we will talk about that. How it should happen and where and when.
Switched to the other side of the Atlantic
Peter Settman and Carmen Davies have so far traveled between the United States and Sweden and it remains to be seen what it will look like in the future.
– It will probably be a commute, but it is also a question. We haven’t talked about that either. Right now we are in Sweden, because it turned out the same as in Los Angeles, I haven’t been there since March. Carmen had the opportunity to enter just before the European border closed in March and has been able to stay here ever since, which is great.

So you’ve had to try this with living together, which apparently must have worked well?
– Yes of course! Obviously I have taken care of myself, haha!
It was in 2018 that Peter Settman and Carmen Davies were revealed to be a couple. When Aftonbladet met him at the premiere of Viaplay’s “Box 21” series a year ago, he told her frankly about his love for his girlfriend.
– Besides the obvious feelings of love and that Carmen is beautiful and pretty and charming, she is incredibly creative and with very few prejudices.
I already have four children, but …
Carmen Davies has not had children before and Peter Settman did not close any doors when the subject came up.
– There is nothing we think about and talk about. I have four amazing children from before. But when that question comes up, I have to take a position on it. Right now our focus is on finding our rhythm as a couple and enjoying each other. It is a long distance relationship and it is not like any other relationship. So I can’t say that then this and this will happen, and then it will be like this.
