At 11:15 AM, the police were alerted that a lifeless person had been found in the open in the south of Stockholm.
– There was an alarm via 112 via SOS as an accident. But when you arrive, you make the assessment that you cannot rule out crime. But, like I said, we still don’t know much, says Eva Nilsson, a press spokeswoman for the Stockholm Police.
The police are now investigating murders as they cannot rule out a crime. The person was found in a forest.
– Someone has found a lifeless person in the open air, and we made these assessments when we arrived at the scene together with an ambulance.
Shot wounded according to information
“At the scene, the first patrol can establish that the person is dead and has injuries that make it impossible to rule out a crime.” writes the police on their website.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the person must have been shot.
Are they gunshot wounds the person has?
– No idea, says Eva Nilsson.
Police say they do not have a clear picture of who the dead man is or how he died. Nor is it commented on whether it is male or female.
– The person is not yet identified. The body remains in view of the fact that it has been established that the person is lifeless, we are awaiting the examination of the technicians, says Eva Nilsson, spokeswoman for the Stockholm Police.
