Pernilla Johansson lived in Stockholm and worked as a creator and marketer. But after hitting the wall last fall, he decided to hit the road in his rented motorhome.
– I just realized that I should live in a motor home and then winter surfing came up as a thought, says Pernilla.
Pernilla makes the trip alone. He started in Österlen and among other things he has been to Härnösand and surfed. On social media he has his own Advent calendar where he shows up every day until Christmas Eve when he navigates in different places.
– Surfing in winter is something you can really do in crown times. The goal is for me to teach myself and give more inspiration.
Contrary to many people’s beliefs, she thinks July is the worst month to surf in Sweden.
– Winter surfing is more popular than many people think. I have a hat and a thick wetsuit so I don’t feel anything when I jump into the water.
