In February of last year, Per Gudmundson left his post as senior editor at Svenska Dagbladet to become press director for the Christian Democrats. But now Gudmundson announces that he will leave the party.
There are two reasons behind the decision.
– On the one hand, the party leadership will reorganize the squad. On the one hand, he had received a very attractive offer from another employer and did not want to lose it, says Per Gudmundson.
Go back to journalism
The outgoing press officer says he will return to writing journalism. It does not mean who the new employer will be, but adds:
– It is clearly within the profession in which I am better.
How was the response of the Christian Democrats?
– We are all separated as best friends. It has been good for these two years and completely happy faces.
Gudmundson makes his last work day at KD on November 6. After that, Sabina Bernhardsson will take over as Acting Press Manager.
