Örebro has started this season brilliantly. Against Linköping at home, the super form continued. Örebro got off to a dream start already after two minutes when Borna Rendulić broke the deadlock in the power play. The goal was his fifth this season and his third for PP. The home team increased to 2-0 through Ludvig Rensfeldt before Linköping reduced through Jonas Holös
– I look for a hatch and put it there. But we are not happy. Örebro runs over us and we make too many simple mistakes. We make it too hard to keep up, says Holös
Bromé’s two-goal shooter
The most satisfied was Ludvig Rensfeldt, who chose to pay tribute to the team after his first goal of the season.
– We are quite hard on them (Linköping). They are dangerous with counterattacks but we get up well. Now it’s important to stay on track, says the Örebro player in C plus.
Linköping was reduced to 4-2 in the third period through Markus Ljungh but a minute later Mathias Bromé made it 5-2 as he turned the defense and sent the puck into goal. Bromé was two seconds from the end of the match with two goals when he put the 6-4 in the empty goal and Örebro thus takes the fourth consecutive victory and now the team also tops the table.
