About 1,000 people gathered in the southern German city of Constance on Saturday to protest against coronary restrictions, according to police.
The restrictions, which differ in different federal states, include requirements for the use of mouth guards in public transportation and in stores, markets, libraries and health facilities.
The protesters also resorted to other crown restrictions, such as the requirement to keep at least 1.5 meters of distance from other people whenever possible.
– People should think about this … and not be so afraid of nature because viruses and bacteria are part of nature, says Ella, 51, who participated in the protest.
Saturday’s protest was much smaller than organizers had anticipated: Some 15,000 people were expected to show up for the rally, but that did not happen.
Similar demonstrations in the capital Berlin in August drew some 20,000 people.
