Hem & Hyra magazine has taken a deep dive into the strange mess around a landlord who is said to have put in place a system to sell his leases in black for a long time.

A woman who reportedly bought a contract with the landlord in 2003 says that she took the 325,000 SEK the landlord demanded from her on the metro and then handed it over to the ground in Strandvägen.
Along with ten other tenants, who are also said to have bought contracts from the woman, he now chooses to sue her, or rather her property, because the woman is dead.
They want their money back.

The reason they choose to fight is that the landlord must have made them a promise: if they moved out of the apartments, they would get their money back.

The lawyer for the new owner denies that he was aware of the deal with the black sales. They dispute all claims and claim that most of them are prohibited by law.
When the parties met in court, the district court determined that there were no preconditions for conciliation, so now the case goes to an interlocutory trial, after which the district court will decide how the case should proceed, reports Hem & Hyra.
