ÖFK is sponsored by the Dubai based company

Finnish-Moroccan midfielder Bakr Abdellaoui joined the financially affected football club in April.

Now it turns out that Abdellaoui’s father sits as vice president of the company Mbuzz Sports, with offices in Dubai and Riyadh, which sponsored ÖFK in connection with the transition.

It states Östersunds-Posten, who received documents confirming the information that Mbuzz Sport has entered the club with money.

The magazine mentions that a SEK 45,000 invoice was sent.

Stig Eklund claims for ÖP that he is unfamiliar with the matter, but confirms that the club and Mbuzz are having fun to argue.

– I know there is dialogue on long-term cooperation. I know. This is the only thing I know, that we have had physical and telephone hits, he tells ÖP.

However, Eklund does not want to comment on who handled the contact with Mbuzz sport or what the company receives for the money with which it supports ÖFK.

Despite the poor economy Östersunds FK received the elite license from the Board of Appeals in December and thus more games at allsvenskan 2020. The club was good at raising new capital from a major sponsor, the Cypriot company Puls8 Ltd.

The club is still waiting for the SEK 15 million that was discussed.

– We continue to have a dialogue with them, but they suffer as much as we do for the crown, so it is completely still at this time. But they are still thinking that they want to establish an establishment in Östersund, but they are working in their own way and with their financing, Stig Eklund told TV4 Fotbollskanalen in April.
