Arturo Vidal is, after a period of speculation, ready to play for Inter. The Chilean national team midfielder leaves Barcelona to play for the club in Serie A, the Milan team announces. Inter recently confirmed that Vidal landed in Milan for the mandatory medical examination and now the transfer has also been announced.
Thus, Vidal now also meets with Inter coach Antonio Conte, who the midfielder also had as a coach at Juventus several years ago. At the same time, Barcelona confirms that the transfer fee is one million euros, just over ten million crowns.
Vidal previously has experience playing games at Bayern Munich, Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen in Europe. Last season, he had to vary his starts with tickets in Barcelona and stood out with a total of eight goals and three assists in 43 appearances in all tournaments.
Inter will kick off the league match against Fiorentina at home in Serie A.
