With more than 230,000 deaths and nine million confirmed cases, the United States is one of the most affected countries in the world during the pandemic.
But President Donald Trump believes that too much emphasis is being placed on the virus. During one of his campaign speeches, he said that since Election Day, November 4, they will not hear any more about the virus.
As Trump travels the country and speaks to his constituents, Barack Obama has increased his campaign work for Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
Obama’s mockery of Trump
During the evening’s speech, former President Donald Trump mocked what he believes has turned the White House into a “hotbed of infection.”
– More than 225,000 people have died in the country. More than 100,000 small businesses have closed. Half a million jobs have disappeared in Florida alone. Think about it, says Obama.
Obama criticized Trump’s response to the American pandemic.
– What’s your argument? That people are too focused on covid. He said this during one of his campaign speeches. Covid, covid, covid, accuse. He is jealous of the media space that gets the crown. Had he been focused on covid from the start, we would not have reached new highs in the country every week.
