The Novemberkåsan enduro competition, which was first decided in 1915, will not be held this year. Today, SMK Gävle, who would have been the organizers of the year, announced that the competition will move to 2021.

“SMK Gävle has been expecting relief from the number of outdoor public events they can have, it is now clear that there will not be enough relief before Novemberkåsan. SMK Gävle cannot guarantee a party without an audience! Therefore, we have a social responsibility to move the competition as we are sure that unauthorized audiences will attend. The finances of the SMK Gävle association are also at risk today, as COVID-19 generates both costs and loss of sponsorship revenue, ”the association writes in a press release.

Novemberkåsan was also canceled in 1917-18 due to the First World War, 1939-1945 in connection with the Second World War and in 1967 due to the diversion of traffic on the right.
