According to the municipality, the organizer has said that the celebration of the ashura religious festival began on August 21 and lasted every day until August 30.
The meeting, which stopped when the first crown drop was discovered, would have continued for another three days. On the last day 170 people were present.
The premises where the festival was celebrated were not approved for this purpose, since they were rebuilt without a building permit.
Representatives of the Muslim Assembly of the Al-Ghadir Islamic Center have previously said that existing rules have been followed. According to Sindre Martinsen-Evje, the religious community cooperates when it comes to the spread of the infection.
Of the total of 2,500 people who are in quarantine they are the majority of schoolchildren and teachers. As a result, a middle school was closed.
