Norway eases coronary restrictions

Norwegian municipalities have gained better control over the spread of the infection and the tracing of the infection, and therefore the restrictions can be eased a bit, says Prime Minister Erna Solberg.

– Now we are in a different situation than when we closed in March, he says.

Various forms of step-by-step group training will be allowed again, and up to 600 people will be allowed to participate in outdoor events, divided into groups of a maximum of 200.

For events with fixed seats, only a distance of one meter, or an empty seat, will apply as of Monday, October 12.

“Gradual relief”

Erna Solberg says the government wants to ease more restrictions, but there is a long way to go before the pandemic ends.

– We are initiating a gradual restart of grassroots adult sports. The national bar stop at midnight ends, he says during Wednesday’s press conference according to Dagbladet, adding:

– The precondition is that municipalities introduce strict restrictions at the local level where there are outbreaks of infection.
