During “Idol” on Friday, the theme was People’s Choice, which meant that the audience could vote which song the contestants would sing.
Some of the idols had great success with people’s choice of song, while others had it a bit more difficult. Niklas Hultberg had to leave the competition with tears in his eyes.
– It was expected, he said.
The final on Friday was assigned to sing Måns Zelmerlöw’s middle song “Hereos”, which he considered a challenge. And after the performance, the jury was not entirely satisfied.
– It got pretty fake at first. And not so untrue, said Kishti Tomita after the Hultberg song.
When Expressen talks to Niklas Hultberg after the performance, he agrees that the song became a challenge.
– I’m so divided. I may not be good enough to immediately hear what I am doing wrong. Therefore, I may be perceived as a bit boring when receiving criticism.
– But I think they give me criticism that I can use. I need some criticism to push me all the time.
Is “heroes” a difficult song?
– I think so. I don’t think it suits me when I sing that low.
Emotional night
The night turned into an emotional storm, especially for Kishti Tomita, who was moved to tears several times.
– They’re so good. “I’ve felt that way in previous years, too. But I’ve probably never been so impressed with how they are this year, he said.
– What you have here this year is that you have both the feeling and the technology. They often take each other out without this gang.
For Kishti Tomita, it was difficult to say if she felt more concerned about any participant because they had all “impressed her so much.”
– I’m so proud of everyone. And I’m really glad I don’t have to decide who to leave.
Plot in the studio
What was new on Friday was that there were no audiences in the studio. The night is also that the idol has no audience.
Given a new location in Stockholm with the highest infection, we will broadcast without an audience in the studio. We are happy with Sverigeväggen, which gives our viewers the opportunity to be a digital audience, said Malin Knave, producer of TV4.
