ÖSTERSUND / STOCKHOLM. Four booms yesterday. Just one today.
Stina Nilsson really stepped up after yesterday’s failure race and finished third.
– Good, it felt so good, says Nilsson.
Stina Nilsson shone like winter weather after the biathlon sprinter in Östersund on Monday.
After yesterday’s chaotic competition when Nilsson tripped on a mat, drove poorly in the riot and fired four booms, today’s race cannot be seen as anything other than a rematch.
The 27-year-old missed just once and finished third, 42 seconds behind winner Elisabeth Högberg, 34. Second was Tilda Johansson, 21.
Full house on the second handle
Stina Nilsson finished 13th yesterday after blocking two shots on both the horizontal and vertical shots. Today he blocked a shot in the horizontal shooter and fired full in the vertical.
