Marseille beat PSG last night. After nine long years, Marseille won Le Classique. Florian Thauvin arranged the 1-0 victory for the visiting team.

However, the aftermath has mostly been about the tricky final minutes. There were wild fights between both teams.

He ended up with five red cards. One of the players who was sent off was the great star Neymar. Later he accused Álvaro González de Marsella of racism.

“The guy was a fool”

Brassen has written an open letter and posted it on Instagram.

“Yesterday I rebelled. They sanctioned me with a red card because I wanted to hit someone who insulted me. I felt that I could not leave without doing something because I understood that those who decide would not do anything. Either they did not notice it, or they ignored it”, writes Neymar in the letter on Instagram.

“The guy was a fool and I acted fool because I got involved. I still have the privilege of holding my head up high. But we all need to reflect on the fact that not all blacks and whites have the same conditions.”

“We have to get rid of it”

He also writes:

“An action led to a reaction and then it happened as it did. I accept my penalty because I should have played fair. However, I hope, on the other hand, that the sinner is also punished.”

“Racism exists, it exists. But we must get rid of it. Nothing else, ever!”
