Covid-19 positive Donald Trump is starting to book his calendar again. On Friday night, he tweeted that he will be in Sanford, Florida on Monday for a “GREAT ELECTION MEETING.”

But before that, the president has other plans.

During the night through Saturday, Donald Trump participates in the talk show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News. A pre-recorded virtual medical exam will also be shown there. The interview with Trump is not live either.

And the next day, he has another event scheduled.

New concerns spread

On Saturday, Donald Trump plans to have an election meeting on the White House lawn, sources told ABC News. According to Politico, up to 2,000 guests are invited.

The president himself plans to speak from the balcony.

Now concerns are spreading that the event will be another “contagion party,” just two weeks after the controversial nomination party in the White House rose garden.

The debate is postponed

Late on Saturday night, news also arrives that the next planned debate between Trump and Biden will be canceled, according to a CNN source.

The news comes after Donald Trump declined to hold the debate digitally with Joe Biden, the news channel writes.

It was after Donald Trump tested positive for the crown that the commissioner responsible for the presidential debates came out and said the next debate would be held digitally. Something that Trump thus rejected and therefore will not be a new debate between the two on October 15. On the other hand, Trump will perform in a so-called “City Hall”, an event where the public can ask questions, on October 15. The hearing will be broadcast on various television channels, a Trump spokesman told Fox News.

However, at the moment it appears that the last debate, on October 22 in Nashville, will take place. How it will be implemented has yet to be communicated.
